A BILL to amend article twelve, chapter sixty-two of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section
twenty-five, relating to creating a special revenue account
designated the "parole supervision benefit fund".
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That article twelve, chapter sixty-two of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section
twenty-five, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 12. PROBATION AND PAROLE.
§62-12-25. Parole supervision benefit fund.

There is created a special revenue account in the state
treasury designated the "parole supervision benefit fund". The
fund is to be used by the division of corrections for the benefit of parolee supervision with approval of the commissioner. The fund
shall consist of moneys received from any source, including, but
not limited to, funds donated by the general public or an
organization dedicated to parole supervision improvement and funds
seized from parolees that are forfeited pursuant to the provisions
of article seven, chapter sixty-a of this code.

(NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to create a special
revenue account designated the parole supervision benefit fund. The
fund is to be used by the division of corrections on behalf of its
parole services section.
